Our 2022 Roundup

It's been another incredible year for Onboard Maritime, and we're thrilled to share some of our highlights. We've had the chance to share our vision with industry leaders, collaborate with partners and clients, celebrate achievements and welcome new talent to our team.

In February, our very own Sanket Mahajan was featured on the Marine Society's Coming Ashore Podcast. This was a great opportunity for Sanket to share his expertise and experiences.

We were absolutely ecstatic to win the MaritimeUK Start-up of the Year Award in March! This incredible achievement is a testament to the tireless efforts and dedication of our amazing team. We were truly humbled to have received this honour and are excited to continue pushing the boundaries in the maritime industry.

Onboard Maritime Founder Angus Ferguson had the opportunity to speak at the IAMI Conference in Barcelona in May, allowing us to share our vision and ideas with industry leaders and experts.

In June, we were privileged to be invited as guests of Clyde Marine Training to the UK Chamber of Shipping summer lunch. This was a great opportunity to network and connect with other industry professionals.

July was a huge month for us. To further strengthen our roots, we welcomed Iain Brown as Head of Learning. Iain brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team, and we are excited to have him on board. But that's not all - in the same month, we also expanded into beautiful new offices in Giffnock, giving us the space we need to continue growing and thriving.

In August, we announced our collaboration with the Marine Society. This partnership will allow us to further our mission of providing high-quality training and education to those in the maritime industry.

We were delighted to announce in September that Jade Edgar had been promoted to Operations Manager! As an integral member of our team, Jade has consistently proven herself to be a valuable asset, and we are thrilled to see her take on this new challenge and responsibility.

We were over the moon to be shortlisted for the Innovation and Adoption of Technology Award at this year's Crew Connect Global Awards in November. While we may not have taken home the top prize, we are so proud to have been recognised among such an impressive group of industry leaders. Here's to making even bigger waves in the industry!

To cap off an incredible 2022, we were thrilled to announce our appointment by Clyde Marine Training to provide our cutting-edge digital training support platform to Officer Cadets while onboard vessels. This is a huge accomplishment for our team, and we are excited to partner with Clyde Marine Training to revolutionise the way cadets receive training and support.

2022 has been another exciting and successful year for Onboard Maritime. We have had the opportunity to further share our expertise and vision with the industry, network and collaborate and celebrate several notable achievements. We are grateful for the support of our team, clients and partners, and are looking forward to continued growth and success in the coming year.
